Details Work in the Hyperbaric department of a hospital providing hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) and wound care services Care for patients with conditions requiring HBOT under a 2:1 patient ratio Operate hyperbaric chambers and ancillary equipment per UHMS and NFPA safety guidelines Provide preventive and supportive wound care in conjunction with medical staff Scheduled Monday through Friday, day shift (7:30a-4p), with no weekends Requirements MD or compact LPN license required at time of consideration, license required if applicable ACLS and BLS certification required CHT or CHRN certification preferred Minimum 2 years of experience required Completion of UHMS-approved 40-hour Hyperbaric Treatment training required Community hospital experience preferred Experience with wound treatments including alginates, foams, hydrocolloids, hydrogels, and wound vac therapy preferred Additional Information Perform routine cleansing and maintenance of hyperbaric chambers and ancillary equipment Participate in emergency procedures and drills related to hyperbaric therapy First-time travelers will be considered if candidate is an experienced HBO Clinician Smoke-free facility No radius rule; local candidates accepted at the same rate Complete pre-start online training modules averaging 4-5 hours, due no later than 1 week prior to start RTO requests must be submitted with application and are reviewed on a per-case basis These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
