The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a rural setting. As the ER Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care, managing staff, and optimizing department workflows to ensure efficiency and quality.**Key Responsibilities:*** Lead and manage the daily operations of the emergency department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to all patients.* Supervise, mentor, and support a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and support staff.* Develop and implement department policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.* Monitor and evaluate the performance of the emergency department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.* Collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.* Manage department budgets, resources, and staffing levels to optimize efficiency and maintain a high standard of care.* Ensure the availability of necessary equipment and supplies for the emergency department.* Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional growth, and high employee morale.* Stay current with best practices in emergency medicine and integrate them into department protocols.* Serve as a liaison between the emergency department and hospital administration, representing the interests and needs of the department.## QualificationsCurrent and unrestricted RN license in California Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related healthcare field required, Masters preferredACLS, BLS, PALS and TNCC certifications requiredNIHSS certification preferredMinimum of 3 years leadership experience, minimum 5 years' experience as an ED RN/staffCerner experience preferred**Benefits:*** Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.* Other insurance coverage.* Retirement 457(b) with 3% employer matching once vested.* Sick time and holidays.Join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients!
