Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Integration Architect with strong, balanced expertise in TIBCO and Microsoft Azure Integration Services to lead large-scale integration modernization initiatives for a strategic client engagement in the Life Sciences domain. The architect will bring deep knowledge of the legacy TIBCO landscape and hands-on command of Azure Integration Services to define the target-state architecture and guide the migration and coexistence of both platforms.

This is a client-facing onsite role requiring strong executive communication, enterprise architecture expertise, and credibility on both sides of the migration. The role is part of a strategic enterprise transformation program, and the architect will be instrumental in building client confidence, shaping architecture direction, and enabling future multi-year delivery opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise integration architecture discussions with client leadership and executive stakeholders.
\n
• Assess the existing TIBCO integration landscape, including interfaces, dependencies, message flows, and operational pain points.
\n
• Define and drive the Azure Integration Services modernization and migration strategy.
\n
• Design migration approaches from TIBCO to Azure Integration Services, mapping TIBCO components to Azure equivalents and making rationalization, re-platforming, and re-engineering decisions.
\n
• Architect scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade integration solutions on Microsoft Azure, including hybrid, coexistence, and phased-cutover models with TIBCO.
\n
• Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions, architecture assessments, and solution planning activities.
\n
• Define enterprise integration patterns, governance models, security standards, and best practices across legacy and target platforms.
\n
• Collaborate with delivery, infrastructure, DevOps, security, and business teams across global locations.
\n
• Support proposal development, estimation, roadmap planning, and pre-sales discussions.
\n
• Guide implementation teams on architecture, scalability, resiliency, monitoring, and operational excellence.
\n
• Drive accelerator adoption, reusable migration frameworks, and modernization best practices.
\n
• Provide strategic recommendations for cloud adoption, integration modernization, platform optimization, and TIBCO footprint rationalization.
\n
• Participate in executive reviews and represent the organization in client steering discussions.
\n

Required Skills & Experience

1) 15+ years of overall IT experience, with 7+ years of hands-on architecture and design experience on TIBCO platforms and 5+ years in Enterprise Azure architecture.

2) Strong experience across the TIBCO suite :-

• TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS) and Rendezvous (RV)

• TIBCO ActiveMatrix (AMX) and TIBCO Adapters

3) Strong experience in Azure Integration Services: -

• Service Bus

• Event Grid / Event Hub

• Azure Data Factory
\n
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

4) Proven experience leading TIBCO to Azure migration programs, including assessment, interface inventory, complexity analysis, and phased execution (highly preferred).

5) Ability to map TIBCO constructs to Azure equivalents (for example, BW processes to Logic Apps or Functions, EMS queues and topics to Service Bus, and EMS/RV pub-sub to Event Grid or Event Hub).

6) Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise cloud modernization and integration transformation programs.

7) Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture, messaging patterns, SOA, and hybrid cloud patterns.

8) Experience with CI/CD implementation using GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

9) Expertise in cloud and integration security, identity management, networking, monitoring, and governance.

10) Strong understanding of containerization and micro services architecture.

11) Experience working with executive stakeholders and leading architecture governance discussions.

12) Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Life Sciences, Pharma, or Healthcare clients.

• Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred).

• TIBCO certifications (for example, TIBCO BusinessWorks Certified Developer or Architect).
\n
• Experience with automated migration tooling or accelerators for TIBCO interface discovery and code conversion.
\n
• Experience working with global delivery teams and onsite-offshore engagement models.
\n
• Exposure to pre-sales, solutioning, and strategic consulting engagements.

Location & Engagement

• Onsite role (US-based, with travel to the client location in Chicago).

• Expected to support discovery, architecture planning, workshops, and strategic client discussions.
