Pathology - Cytopathology Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified Pathologist for ongoing locum coverage in a hospital-based pathology department. This opportunity includes surgical pathology sign-out, frozen sections, and cytopathology support within a collaborative pathology team. Assignment Details: ASAP start Ongoing coverage until permanent provider hired Onsite weekday coverage required Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Night and weekend call required Practice Setting: Hospital-based pathology department Trauma Level II facility Epic EMR Work Details: Surgical pathology sign-out Frozen section interpretation Rapid onsite cytology evaluation Cytopathology sign-out as needed Volume Expectations: surgical pathology cases/day 3 5 cytopathology cases/day 2 3 FNA cases/day Annual Department Volumes: 9,000 surgical pathology cases 1,000 cytopathology cases 400 FNAs Support Structure: Collaborative team with 3 full-time pathologists No APP supervision responsibilities Requirements: Physician (MD/DO) Board Certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology required Credentialing: Emergency privileges available Additional Notes: Coverage needed to replace outgoing physician Apply:
