Line Cook - National Landing Cafe

Line Cook Work Location : Multiple Locations Full-time hourly position reporting to the Chef Compensation : $15/hr ($14–$16/hr base pay + TIPS avg $4–$9/hr) Primary responsibility: consistent production of quality food and supporting tasks including: Preparing and executing dishes Collaborating with Sous Chef to execute dishes Adhering to kitchen processes Other tasks as assigned Benefits Competitive Compensation Health / Dental / Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Employee Discounts Free Family Meals Profit Sharing Responsibilities Assist the chefs in all kitchen operations. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen. Ensure that all food is prepared according to recipes and standards. Train and supervise kitchen staff. Manage food inventory and ordering. Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment. Develop new recipes and menus. Qualifications Positive, thoughtful and approachable Solid organization, planning, and time management abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Drop Box, and the Google Drive Suite Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities A history in casual dining management of at least five years working as a Café or Restaurant Manager. General Requirements Passion for Food and Commitment to Excellence Experience and Skill in the Field Applied For Positive Attitude and Professional Conduct Commitment to Quality Physical Ability to Perform Tasks Engaging Personality and Desire to Provide Excellent Customer Service Flexibility to Work the Required Hours Ability to work both independently and perform as a member of a High-Performing Team Excellent Communications Skills Self-Motivated / Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment Reliable, Consistent, and Dedicated Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks.
