Distributed Systems Engineer

To support innovative platform engineering initiatives, the full-time Distributed Systems Engineer will work on low-level systems development, efficiently pack workloads into GPUs across multiple clouds, and collaborate closely with customers in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Develop and optimize container runtimes and manage OCI image formats Efficiently pack and manage thousands of workloads on GPUs across various cloud environments Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge technologies like GPU checkpoint restore Required qualifications 3-5 years of experience in large distributed systems Proficiency with Kubernetes and experience in a statically typed language such as Go or Rust Familiarity with gRPC, Helm/Kustomize, and Terraform Strong interest in developer tools, cloud-native technologies, and open-source software Ability to work closely with customers and stakeholders
