Fire Suppression Service Technician

What we offer Competitive pay Paid vacation, holidays, sick time – 10 days of vacation first year Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), medical, dental, vision care available day one Extensive product and on‑the‑job/cross‑training opportunities Collaborative team environment Zero Harm safety policy Company vehicle, tools, and equipment provided to complete all jobs Employee discount programs (The Loop by Perk Spot) What you will do Perform service and repairs on portable fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems, and suppression gas systems Service, troubleshoot, and install products from manufacturers such as Simplex and ANSUL Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals Manage daily service calls, customer activity, and program system products Work with clean agent systems, dry chemical systems, and special hazards Assist customers with questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner Participate in an on‑call rotation for emergency service Perform inspections of suppression gas systems based on contract requirements Inspect customer systems using phone and equipment; may include government work Qualifications Excellent communication and organizational skills Outstanding customer‑facing service and problem‑solving skills PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook FEL‑A certification – preferred Manufacturer certifications are a plus (ANSUL, Kiddie PyroChem, RMEI, multi‑license) Valid U.S. driver’s license Hourly range: $29.66 – $40.77, based on education, experience, skills, and market data.
