Railcar Prepper

Position Summary Title: Railcar Prepper Location: Roanoke, IN Starting pay: $20.53/hr Schedule: TBD. May have to work 2nd Shift. Saturday and Sunday work required until seniority. Job Description This is a manual labor position outside in the weather elements. Climbing ladders at heights of 16-20 feet. Lifting up to 50 lbs. at times throughout the shift. Inspect and assist in opening and closing railcar end doors. Inspect railcars for damage/fatigue. Identify repairs that can be performed by Road & Rail Services. Using backpack blowers and various scraping devices to remove all debris and other contaminants that could potentially cause vehicle damage. Comply with all industry, customer, and company safety regulations and operating procedures. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid state driver's license. Desire to succeed.
