North Carolina Quality Improvement Specialist

Managing quality assurance and performance improvement activities, the full-time salaried North Carolina Quality Improvement Specialist will oversee the development and implementation of QAPI initiatives while working remotely from home. Key responsibilities Coordinate and manage internal Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities and initiatives Conduct analysis of quality and performance measures to identify deficits and design Performance Improvement Projects (PIPs) Develop stakeholder feedback tools and ensure compliance with reporting and assessment requirements Required qualifications Bachelor's degree required At least two years of quality assurance and improvement experience Knowledge of QAPI principles and federal/state Medicaid regulations Experience in data collection and analysis, with advanced skills in Excel and Word Preferred experience in a behavioral or medical managed care environment
