Automotive Dealership ReceptionistPosition: Dealership ReceptionistJob Type: Full-TimeDepartment: Administration / Customer ServicePosition SummaryWe are looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Receptionist to join our dealership team. The receptionist is often the first person our customers interact with and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience.The ideal candidate is personable, comfortable communicating with customers in person and over the phone, able to multitask in a busy environment, and willing to assist different departments throughout the dealership.ResponsibilitiesGreet customers promptly and professionally as they enter the dealership.Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department or team member.Assist customers with general questions and help connect them with Sales, Service, Parts, Finance, or Management.Take accurate and detailed messages when employees are unavailable.Maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized reception and customer waiting area.Assist with customer follow-up and basic customer service needs.Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and dealership correspondence.Assist with basic data entry, filing, scanning, copying, and other administrative duties.Maintain organized customer and dealership records as assigned.Communicate effectively with Sales, Service, Parts, and administrative staff.Assist with scheduling or appointment coordination when needed.Help ensure customers are acknowledged and assisted while waiting for a dealership employee.Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling customer or dealership information.Provide additional administrative and customer service support as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by management.What We're Looking ForFriendly, positive, and professional attitude.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Dependable and punctual.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Comfortable answering and managing a multi-line phone system.Basic computer and data-entry skills.Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and personalities.Professional appearance and demeanor.Previous receptionist, administrative, automotive, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.Ideal CandidateWe're looking for someone who understands that great customer service starts the moment a customer walks through the door or calls the dealership.
