About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 12 months Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years recent experience as a Wound Care RN in a hospital setting License: Active RN license required Certifications: CWOCN certification required; BLS certification required Must-Have: - Must have CWOCN certification attached to the submission packet - Must have BLS certification through the American Heart Association attached to the submission - Must have an active RN license Description: The Registered Nurse is accountable for providing care to Wound/Ostomy Care patients. The care is provided by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgment. Leadership is required in anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care. The nurse maintains clinical competencies through continuing education. Patient care priorities are delegated commensurate with the education and experience of available staff. The position includes providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
