Join our team as a Grave Shift Janitorial Worker, where you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a dynamic environment. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience and enjoy the benefits of union membership after a short contract period.

Responsibilities

• Follow approved procedures and infection control plans to collect and dispose of trash.
• Dust and damp mop floors using established protocols.
• Move equipment and furniture to ensure thorough cleaning and return them to their correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas using designated materials and equipment.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of recent janitorial experience.
• Proficiency in general labor and janitorial tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic cleaning of bathrooms, manufacturing floors, and common areas.
• No formal education required.

Work Environment

The position is located on-site at a manufacturing plant in Fremont. The role requires flexibility to work the grave shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. You will be working under the guidance of the site team lead and report to the head manager.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
