Overview
Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – Radiology Tech, specializing in Diagnostic Radiologic Tech, in Utica, New York. Start date 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $3,224–$3,316. Shift: 4x10-hour days. This travel temporary assignment involves imaging in a radiology department within a health system. Locals are accepted at the local rate.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiology procedures per physician orders, prioritizing image quality and patient safety.
- Operate imaging systems (Siemens Artis-Q, PACS) and integrate with EPIC workflow; ensure accurate documentation and image delivery.
- Position patients, apply radiation safety measures, and protect patients and staff with proper shielding and technique.
- Monitor patient condition during procedures; respond to contrasts or procedural changes as needed.
- Collaborate with the radiology team and nursing staff; support OR/ENDO procedures requiring C-arm during interventional cases.
- Manage and document procedures in the electronic health record and PACS; assist with on-call coverage (see on-call details).

Requirements
- NY license required
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT certification required
- Minimum 1 year radiologic technologist experience; 2 years preferred
- DLS required
- Ability to work in a radiology department setting and participate in the on-call schedule
- On-call availability: 17:00–07:00; weekend call rotation every fourth weekend (may increase with staffing needs)
