Job Opportunity: Child Psychiatrist

Our organization is looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Child Psychiatrist to become a part of our dedicated team at the Behavioral Medicine Center within the Department of Psychiatry. This role entails providing onsite weekend inpatient care on child behavioral health units, along with offering concurrent call coverage.

The work schedule can be flexible, either intermittent or regularly scheduled, based on the needs of the department.

• Conducting inpatient rounds and addressing acute psychiatric conditions, with or without the involvement of residents and/or nurse practitioners.
• Responding to calls and assisting psychiatric residents in managing cases.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Providing supervision or consultation to residents and/or nurse practitioners when they are present.
• Performing duties independently or in collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, and engaging with residents and/or students in a training environment when available.

The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $190 to $195 per hour , which may be adjusted based on years of experience and/or faculty rank. Please note that this figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, and is subject to the specific compensation plans of the department. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
