RN Infusion Weekends Part Time

About The Position Mixed Weekend/Weekday Infusion RN role in the infusion clinic at Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion. Serving the oncology and general populations by providing a wide range of infusion services and medication as well as blood product transfusion. Looking for candidates who prefer weekend work and want to work on a high functioning team. Work model is team nursing and relational care. Orientation days may be completed on weekdays. The role includes weekend shifts (6 hours, 7:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.) and weekday shifts (10 hours, 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.), intended to be every other weekend plus 1–2 weekdays each week. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, providing a multitude of care options to communities. There are over 40 types of primary care and specialty practices, allowing staff to explore various interests or specialize in one area. Scope of Work Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described by the American Nurses Association and the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds standards of ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes. Qualifications Required Associate’s Degree in Nursing Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program (Required) Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) – State of Michigan (Required upon hire) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – AHA or ARC (required within 90 days) Oncology Nursing Certification (ONCC) or related certification (1 year required for RN working with chemotherapy/immunotherapy) ONCC Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or other applicable oncology specialty/leadership certification (1 year preferred) Benefits Comprehensive benefits package to meet financial, health, and work/life balance goals (Learn more here.)
