About the Position

Job Opportunity – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) RN – New York

Start Date: November 23, 2026

Location: Utica, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; 36 or 48 hours per week; block scheduling subject to availability; floating required as needed

Highlights:

• 64-bed Intermediate Care Unit with 15 designated neuro beds serving diverse patient populations
• Complex case mix including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory (COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Experience with specialty equipment: temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune suction, and chronic ventilators with respiratory therapy support
• EPIC electronic medical record system utilized facility-wide
• Adult patient demographics (18 years and older)
• Local and travel candidates welcome

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2+ years of documented IMCU/PCU experience, including travel assignments
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Complete credentialing package including skills checklist, NURSYS license verification, and valid driver's license
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
