Your Daily Journey

• Performing detailed patient evaluations, arranging necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions with the collaborative support of physicians or independently, as per credentialing
• Informing patients and their families about wellness, disease prevention, and management
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic protocols within your scope
• Engaging in follow-up care and the management of chronic conditions
• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure harmonious, comprehensive care
• Accurately documenting patient interactions within electronic health records (EHR)

Required Credentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure & Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Hawaii
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within three months)
