Construction Materials Testing Technician

This job was posted by KansasWorks. Overview Seeking ambitious, career-minded individuals with strong math skills for lab and field testing of construction materials. This is a full-time position. Experienced applicants are preferred; however, proficiency in algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and chemistry can substitute for experience, and many of our technicians have worked extensively in agriculture or construction prior to joining our firm. Responsibilities Conduct lab and field testing of construction materials. Apply math skills (algebra, trigonometry, geometry) and chemistry knowledge. Work outdoors in all weather conditions. Qualifications Proficiency in algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and chemistry. Experience in agriculture or construction is a plus. Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
