Technical SpecialistThis request is for a Technical Specialist who will server as a mainframe expert. The ideal candidate should have mainframe skills including CICS, DB2, Elixir, Endevor, IMS, and JCL. Additional skills in middleware and MQ are beneficial. The candidate should possess:Thorough knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionalityThe ability to provide configuration management /release management support and guidance for Endevor softwareThorough knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniquesThorough knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2The ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savingsThe ability to provide CICS administration, problem-solving and debugging support interfacing with application developers as well as DIT personnelRequired/Desired SkillsKnowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality - Required - 7 YearsExperience providing configuration management / release management support and guidance for Endevor software - Required - 7 YearsKnowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques - Required - 7 YearsKnowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2 - Required - 7 YearsAbility to evaluate complex SQL queries - Required - 7 Years
