Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Edmonds, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/17/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) Nursing Specialist position is based in Edmonds, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care to infants in a Level II NICU setting. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of managing high-risk deliveries and neonatal care procedures in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Shift: Nights Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: 2 years of NICU experience, valid BLS and NRP certifications, ability to attend high-risk deliveries, feeding (bottle, breast, gavage), neonatal dosage calculations, and ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP). Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, community hospital experience, and Level II NICU knowledge. Additional Information: All candidates must have current references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years. Modules include non-billable training averaging 16 hours, completed pre-start and annually, with completion recorded in Workramp transcripts. NICU travel nurses are not expected to care for mother-baby couplets unless they possess the specific skills and competencies.
