Utilizing custom CPUs developed by Google, the team is responsible for implementing critical boot-level software components including Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) and firmware/software (FW/SW) drivers and driving the New Product Introduction (NPI) phases to deploy new machines into the fleet with a high quality bar. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers. Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large scale software solutions. Lead the software architecture, design, development and testing of ARM-based server platforms and derivatives by managing project deadlines, qualities and deliverables.
