Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - Willow Springs, Missouri

Key Qualifications:

• Valid credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current, unrestricted state license as required
• Experience delivering respiratory care in acute or critical care settings
• Strong knowledge of ventilator management, airway care, and pulmonary procedures
• Ability to effectively prioritize and respond to rapidly changing situations
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred or required depending on facility)

• Assess, plan, and provide respiratory treatments for patients as ordered by physicians
• Administer therapies including oxygen, aerosol medication, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation support
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy based on clinical protocols
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and equipment use
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Maintain precise documentation and adhere to established safety protocols
