What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities) Perform Independent Setups: Execute complete, independent machine setups and operations on multi-axis CNC mills and turning centers. Tooling & Offsets Management: Adjust tool page offsets, establish work holding fixtures, and replace cutting tooling to maintain tight production tolerances. Precision Part Inspection: Inspect close-tolerance components using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, height gauges, and custom precision tooling. Blueprint & Code Execution: Interpret complex engineering blueprints, apply G&M code adjustments, and utilize GD&T principles to ensure full part integrity. Troubleshoot & Optimize Cell: Investigate and resolve mechanical or program-related deviations on 2nd shift to optimize cycle times and maintain smooth production flow. Maintain Cell Standards: Keep a clean, meticulously organized, safe, and 5S-compliant machining station. What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications) Machining & Setup Depth: 2+ years of professional CNC machining experience with at least 1 year of independent setups on CNC mills or lathes.
