As an automotive technician, you will enjoy all that our state-of-the-art shop has to offer, including a bright, well-lit work area and top-notch tools and equipment. You will also have the opportunity for growth and certification through all-expenses-paid manufacturer training. This position works Monday–Friday, so you can enjoy your weekends off with family and friends! Compensation ranges from $55,000–$85,000 annually, depending on your experience and proficiency. You'll also earn a yearly production bonus just in time for the holidays, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes competitive PTO and a 401(k).If you're motivated, dependable, and ready to stay busy, we would love to have you on our team!ResponsibilitiesPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.QualificationsPrevious automotive technician experienceASE Certification preferredBroad knowledge of new vehicle technologiesAmbitious, hardworking presence in a team environmentBasic computer skillsPositive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentalityEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentAbility to collaborate effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsAble to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentValid driver's license and clean driving recordAs part of the Dahl Auto team, you will be eligible for all company benefits, including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, 401k with automatic 3% company contribution, life insurance, disability insurance, accident insurance, discounts on vehicles and services, and much more!
