Hospitality Accountant (Task Force Team) Nashville, TN $32–$42/hour About the Opportunity – Hospitality Accountant Our client, a respected full‑service hospitality organization in the Nashville market, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their finance team. This task force role is critical in supporting daily financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and partnering closely with leadership to drive financial performance. Key Responsibilities – Hospitality Accountant Prepare and review bank and balance sheet reconciliations with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness Support month‑end close processes, including journal entries and financial statement preparation Oversee credit card reconciliations, cash handling procedures, deposits, and internal controls Supervise cashier functions and conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance Assist with accounts payable, expense review, and weekly disbursement processes Support group billing, inventory reviews, and payroll/labor analysis Partner with leadership to provide financial insights, analysis, and reporting Maintain compliance with financial regulations, audits, and company policies Qualifications – Hospitality Accountant 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; hospitality experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of hotel accounting operations, including revenue, AP, payroll, and reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting/financial systems Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and efficiency Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments High attention to detail with a strong sense of accountability Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Experience in luxury or full‑service hotel environments is a plus Familiarity with the Nashville hospitality market preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Creative Financial Staffing, LLC
