Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.91 / Hour Job Schedule: Daytime Wednesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Thursday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including assisting with de‑escalation and notifying appropriate personnel when needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help control visitor and staff movement in accordance with location protocols, including directing people to appropriate departments and reporting access concerns. Complete required reports and communicate clearly with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Possess 1+ years of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
