Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) nursing role is based in a healthcare facility that requires a registered nurse to provide specialized perioperative care. This position involves working eight-hour days with a schedule of weekdays, with the possibility of working one weekend per month, and no on-call duties. The successful candidate will have at least two years of operating room experience and be proficient with Xi DaVinci robotic systems across multiple surgical specialties.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York State license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to start, at least 2 years of operating room experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience is a plus but not necessary. Experience with Xi DaVinci robotic systems in general, orthopedic, bariatrics, vascular, endovascular, plastics, urology, robotic gynecology, dental, and podiatry surgeries.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to units within the clinical competencies.
• Additional Information: Orientation occurs once a month. Eligible travelers are those with at least 2 years of experience in the specialty, with options for off-site work if RTO is 4 days or less, provided no holiday RTO is involved. All travelers must be prepared to work within their scope of practice.
