CVOR RNJob Title: CVOR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days, 4/10s with call and weekends Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years cardiac experience License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, Crisis Protocol Approved Must-Have: Scrubbing experience required Description: The unit consists of two suites. The average number of cases per day is four. Common cases include CABG, TAVR, and minimally invasive and open valve replacements. Registered Nurses (RNs) and techs are both required to take call and work weekends. There is a mandatory call/standby requirement with a call response time of 30 minutes. Staff will float in the main operating room as needed. The facility provides scrubs for staff. Unit-specific orientation is provided. Cancellation policy allows for up to four shifts to be canceled during the 13-week assignment.
