Hunterdon Care Center is looking for a Registered Dietitian. Responsible for planning, developing, and delivering nutritional care to residents. This role includes conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments, creating individualized care plans, and ensuring residents' dietary needs are met in accordance with clinical standards. Currently hiring for full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and implement care plans
• Assess, plan, and evaluate resident diets based on medical needs
• Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents and families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on treatment and care plans
• Monitor, document, and communicate resident progress using electronic systems
• Apply age-specific nutritional care practices

Compensation:

• Salary range starts at $80,000 and is determined by experience

Qualifications:

• At least two years clinical dietetics experience in LTC
• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition required
• Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Point Click Care (PCC) is required
