Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses for a fast-paced, high-acuity critical care unit. The role involves providing advanced nursing care to critically ill patients, including bedside procedures and complex monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients, including post-procedure recovery.
• Interpret and respond to patient vital signs, including reading EKG strips and managing telemetry.
• Perform bedside procedures such as Tracheostomy, G-Tube placement, and endoscopy-related care.
• Monitor and operate specialized equipment like ICP monitors, arterial lines, and Flotrac systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float between units as needed, supporting different ICU teams while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Valid active RN license or compact license in the state.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent ICU experience, preferably in a Level 1 hospital setting.
• Proven proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
• Ability to interpret EKGs and manage telemetry monitoring confidently.
• Experience with bedside procedures like Trachs, G-tubes, and bronchoscopy support.
• Must pass online competency assessments, including EKG/telemetry tests.
