Litigation Legal Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions, in partnership with a law firm in Roseland, NJ, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team. This position supports the Commercial Litigation team.

This position is fully onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and editing legal documents and correspondence including pleadings, motions, briefs, responses, and other documents

• E-filing with NY, NJ, and Federal courts

• Maintaining files

• Managing calendars

• Conducting client intake interviews

• Scheduling meetings and depositions

• Assisting with discovery and trial preparation

• Entering attorney time

• Corresponding with clients

• Providing general administrative support

Requirements:

• 4+ years of recent litigation legal assistant experience

• Experience supporting commercial litigation teams preferred

• Experience with NetDocs and SurePoint preferred

• Strong MS Office knowledge

• Excellent communication skills

• Very organized

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000 per year depending on experience, education, and other job-related factors.
