Registered Nurse (RN) | Intermediate Care Location: St. Louis, MO Agency: Concentric Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title Travel RN – Cardiac Med Intermediate (Stepdown) – Nights Location Saint Louis, MO Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (19:00-07:30) | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week | Onsite Key Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for all age groups on a 32-bed Cardiac Stepdown unit Monitor and manage patients including post-op CABG/valve surgery, thoracotomies, respiratory failure, and chest pain presentations Operate and manage unit-specific equipment including chest tubes, temporary pacemakers, and BiPAPs Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort Maintain patient rights and confidentiality in accordance with applicable nursing practice standards Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units Required Qualifications Current RN license eligible for or active in the state of Missouri Minimum 1 year of inpatient Cardiac Stepdown experience BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required Flu vaccination (or facility-approved exemption) required November 1 through April 1 Availability for full-week day-shift orientation (night shift travelers orient on days) Preferred Experience / Skills NIHSS certification preferred Experience with EPIC EMR Demonstrated ability to work as a team player and contribute to a positive unit culture Why Join Us Work in a nationally recognized cardiac care environment with a patient ratio of 1:3-1:4 and no call requirements Saint Louis, MO offers a vibrant mix of culture, dining, sports, and entertainment - an exciting home base for your travel assignment #J-18808-Ljbffr Fairweather, LLC
