Role Overview
We are seeking a Middle Product Owner to join our team at the BizBone US Office. In this role, you will serve as the critical liaison between stakeholders and development teams, managing product backlogs, defining user stories, and ensuring that delivered solutions align with business objectives and user needs. As a Middle Product Owner, you will independently prioritize features, facilitate agile ceremonies, and make data-driven decisions to maximize product value. This is a Full Time position with an Hourly Rate compensation structure. Overtime is allowed, though it occurs very rarely.

Clearance Requirement
This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, stakeholder input, and strategic objectives
- Develop clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria to guide development teams
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in collaboration with Scrum Masters and development teams
- Negotiate requirements and scope with stakeholders to balance competing priorities and resource constraints
- Analyze business needs and translate them into technical requirements that development teams can execute
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders in English to ensure alignment on product vision and delivery timelines
- Review and accept completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and acceptance criteria
- Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to inform continuous improvement efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, business analysts, and quality assurance professionals
- Manage dependencies and risks that may impact product delivery timelines or quality

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in product ownership, business analysis, or related roles
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation techniques to balance stakeholder needs and technical constraints
- Strong proficiency in English for both written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with the ability to elicit, document, and validate requirements
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum or Kanban frameworks
- Experience creating and managing product backlogs using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships across teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance

Certifications / Licensure:

- TOEIC certification demonstrating English language proficiency
- IELTS certification demonstrating English language proficiency

Required Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile product management certification
- Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification
- Experience working on government contracting projects or within federal agencies
- Familiarity with DoD 8570 compliance requirements; IAT Level I certification (A+, CND, or Network+) is preferred
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and user-centered design methodologies
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools to communicate product metrics
- Background in technical domains relevant to government IT systems and infrastructure

Additional Requirements:

- Must be able to work on-site at the BizBone US Office
- Willingness to work overtime on rare occasions when project demands require
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances and comply with all government security protocols
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
