Summary of Position
At MJ Care, our mission is simple: support students so they can fully access their education and thrive in the school environment. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll play an active, hands-on role in supporting students throughout their school day. You'll provide direct services aligned with students' IEPs or other support plans, while working closely with teachers, administrators, and fellow service providers to ensure each student receives the support they need to succeed. This role is embedded within the rhythm of a school-balancing direct student interaction, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and consistent documentation to support student progress and compliance. You'll participate in team meetings, contribute to planning and progress discussions, and adapt your approach based on individual student needs and the evolving priorities of the school environment. The goal is to support students' communication skills across educational settings so they can more fully participate academically, socially, and functionally throughout the school day. At MJ Care, you're not stepping into this work alone. You'll be supported by a team that understands school-based services, values clear communication, and prioritizes doing right by both clinicians and the students they serve. We focus on building strong relationships-with our associates and our school partners-so you can focus on what matters most: making a meaningful impact in students' day-to-day lives. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct services to students in alignment with IEP and other individualized support plans
- Support students with communication, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and other needs

- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, team meetings, and progress discussions
- Monitor student progress and adjust services as needed to support outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant service documentation and records
- Manage caseload responsibilities, including scheduling and service tracking
- Communicate effectively with school staff and, when appropriate, families
- Support a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment
- Follow all district policies, procedures, and school expectations
- Ensure compliance with applicable state, federal, and professional standards
- Adapt to changes in student needs, schedules, and school priorities throughout the year
