PARAMEDIC - EMSERV

Paramedic

Provides emergency and non?emergency pre?hospital care across age groups per protocols and MSDH BEMS regulations; documents and maintains equipment readiness.

Current NREMT Paramedic (MSDH preferred); EMS Driver licenses as applicable; ACLS/PALS preferred; FEMA ICS courses preferred.

Positive team attitude; strong communication.

Provide high?quality paramedic services and leadership to EMS team.

Prioritize work; document calls; ensure equipment readiness.

Communicate with patients, families, first responders, and staff.

Walk and work on varied terrain and in confined spaces.

Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull 75100 lbs with or without assistance (patients/equipment).

Repeated transfers of patients to stretchers/wheelchairs and loading/unloading equipment.

Maintain stamina for prolonged standing, kneeling, and awkward postures in emergency situations.

Rapid fine?motor control for operation of emergency/diagnostic devices; adequate vision and hearing.
