## 2nd Shift- Maintenance Generalist- Eufaula Feed MillApplylocations: Eufaula Feedmill - Banks, Alabamatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todaytime left to apply: End Date: June 30, 2026 (30+ days left to apply)job requisition id: R0463893**Job Details:**Job Description**3x Rehire Rule****180 Day Rehire Waiting Period****2nd Shift Maintenance Generalist****Eufaula Feed Mill**## **This position is responsible for, but not limited to:*** Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.* Provide troubleshooting and repair of any mechanical malfunction* Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems* Responds to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situations* Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule* Complete appropriate paperwork and reports* Must comply with lockout/ tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs* Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical trouble shooting and repairs* Able to perform diagnosis and repairs without supervision* Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision* Ability to assist with other mechanics as needed* Perform other duties as assigned* Work in temperature that will vary with outside ambient temperatures and humidity. It can be dusty, warm, cold and/or humid.* The positions physical requirements will include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping and the ability to climb ladders, lifts, and scaffolds.* Lifting will also be required and depending on department could be up to 70lbs.* Required to wear a safety toe boot that can withstand 75lbs. at all times.**REQUIREMENTS:**Experience:* 2 years prior industrial maintenance experience, experience with Tyson maintenance department, or have education (I.E. possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience.* Previous poultry processing experience preferred.Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with knowledge in Word and Excel Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills are criticalSafety: Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules.Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.**Relocation Assistance Eligible:**No**Work Shift:**2ND SHIFT (United States of America)**Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
