Compensation Analyst

Overview Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is hiring a Compensation Analyst to support firm‑wide compensation initiatives within the HR Compensation team in Boston. The role focuses on year‑end reporting, promotion program analytics, market pricing, and project management for compensation related initiatives. Responsibilities Year End Compensation: create reports, maintain source data, assist with senior executive committee presentations, and manage year‑end process analytics. BBH Promotion Program: serve as primary contact with HR Business Partners, recommend compensation increases, analyze trends, and lead process enhancements. Compensation Analytics: develop reports for compensation initiatives, support senior executive meetings, and conduct ad‑hoc analyses. Market Pricing Analytics: manage employee and survey upload processes, collaborate with vendors for custom reports. Project Management: lead or participate in compensation projects such as program design, implementation, and benchmarking studies; support broader HR initiatives and pay‑equity analyses. Other Duties: complete ad‑hoc compensation requests and manage meeting agendas. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 2‑3+ years of compensation experience, preferably in financial services. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, scenario modeling). Advanced PowerPoint proficiency. Strong analytical skills and root‑cause problem solving. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience in compensation year‑end salary and bonus cycles. Project management experience using a structured discipline. Preferred: working knowledge of Workday, progress toward a CCP or other HR certification. Location & Employment Boston (hybrid, minimum three days in office per week). Compensation Salary: $65k‑$90k base + annual bonus target. Base salaries may vary based on location, skill, experience, and qualification.
