Fund Accounting Manager

We’re partnering with an established investment firm seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to join its finance team. This individual will support the accounting and reporting activities for multiple funds while working closely with investment professionals, external service providers, and firm leadership. Responsibilities Maintain fund accounting records, including investment activity, partner allocations, and general ledger entries Support quarterly and annual close processes for investment funds and related entities Prepare financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting schedule Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process Partner with investment professionals to support portfolio valuation and financial reporting activities Assist with accounting and tax‑related matters associated with fund investment Monitor liquidity, cash balances, and anticipated funding requirement Support capital calls, investor distributions, wire activity, and other cash management function Respond to investor and internal stakeholder requests for financial information Review accounting entries and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of Audit or Tax experience from public accounting with asset management clients, OR combination of public accounting & relevant fund accounting experience. Strong understanding of investment partnership accounting and financial reporting. Experience supporting quarterly closes, annual audits, capital activity, and investor allocations. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or fund administration systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
