Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, integrating detailed medical histories and physical examinations
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical issues through interpretation of diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
• Collaborate closely with surgeons to both devise and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide critical intraoperative support, preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently passing instruments during surgeries
• Administer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, conducting medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
• Completion of clinical rotations emphasizing surgical practice highly preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Possession of state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
