POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (75% Audit / 25% Accounting)

The Audit Accountant will be the central point of contact for all audit-related activities globally while providing hands-on accounting support.

Lead Audit Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and manage all company audits, including bank audits and communication with auditors for the parent company. Oversee timelines and manage deliverables.
Drive Process Improvement: Proactively assist in strengthening internal controls, formalizing accounting policies, and streamlining procedures to enhance operational efficiency and audit readiness.
Operational Partnership: Partner cross-functionally with finance and operational teams across the organization to ensure compliance and resolve complex accounting issues.
Core Accounting Support: Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, prepare journal entries, and provide financial statement support.
Research & Compliance: Research complex accounting issues and ensure strict compliance with GAAP and internal control frameworks.

QUALIFICATIONS & IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for a motivated, solution-oriented self-starter who is eager to step into a challenging environment.

Experience: 3-5+ years of public accounting audit experience (Big 4, National, or Regional firm preferred).
Education/Certification: Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required.
Mindset: Curious, highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with strong problem-solving and research abilities.
Skills: Strong Excel skills and excellent communication for cross-functional and executive interaction.
