Maintenance Technician

Role Description We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and motivated Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of our newer-construction Downtown properties. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong troubleshooting skills, and is committed to providing quality service to our residents while helping maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained community. Responsibilities Complete apartment repairs, work orders, and general maintenance requests in a timely manner. Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs. Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including repairs, and general turnover work. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of apartments, buildings, and common areas. Respond to resident maintenance requests and emergencies as needed. Maintain grounds, common areas, and maintenance equipment. Follow all safety procedures and maintain accurate records of completed work. Provide courteous, professional service to residents and team members. Qualifications Previous apartment or residential maintenance experience preferred. Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs. Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently. Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic. Ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance duties. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. HVAC certification or other relevant certifications are a plus. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience.
