• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required

• Excellent communication and collaborative skills for effective teamwork
• Ability to multitask and prioritize patient needs in a busy recovery unit

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor post-anesthesia patients for complications and respond rapidly to changes
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital sign monitoring and pain management
• Administer prescribed medications and IV fluids, adhering strictly to safety protocols
• Collaborate closely with anesthesia providers and surgical teams to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on post-operative expectations and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record
