About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in an ER setting is required. Travel experience is preferred, but not necessary. License: Kentucky or compact license required. Certifications: NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS are required. Must-Have: Candidates must have experience in an ER setting. No trauma level one experience is necessary. RTO for longer than one week will not be approved unless special circumstances arise. Description: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting. Required certifications include NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. A Kentucky or compact nursing license is required. No trauma level one experience is necessary for this position. Travel experience is preferred, but first-time travelers with level 1 ER experience will be accepted. Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Weekend shifts are included in the schedule, with approximately 4-5 weekend shifts per 6 weeks. All candidates should be prepared to complete required compliance exams and training. Rehire eligibility will be checked, and submitting candidates with previous employment at this facility must be noted. Candidates will complete modules during orientation and annually, which are not included in non-billable hours.
