Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview Good Shepherd Hospice is looking for passionate, dedicated RN to provide End of Life care to patients at home. Our Hospice RN’s: TheCommunity Hospice RNis responsible for providing nursing care to hospice patients, residents and/or family within their home setting, focusing on symptom management and pain control. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of hospice concepts, philosophy, policies and procedures. Prior experience in home care, hospice and/or oncology preferred. This position covers Babylon, Copiague, Farmingdale, Levittown, Massapequa, Plainview, Syosset, Wyandanch and the surrounding areas. Job Details Qualifications Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of one year of recent hands on experience Basic Life Support Certification Current, valid NY State driver's license and own transportation. Salary Range USD $100,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
