Flexible shifts: Day 4x10-Hour (11:00 - 21:30) or Mid 4x10-Hour (13:00 - 23:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience assisting in a variety of surgical procedures and maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and surgical instruments.
• Implement best practices for decontamination and sterilization processes.
• Follow aseptic techniques and ensure compliance with universal protocol during surgeries.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care of patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff to provide optimal surgical care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a surgical setting.
• Required certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA.
• Knowledge of and experience with various surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Must hold a valid NY state license.
