Job Description
Physiatrist (PM&R) Locum Need
Schedule: Four days per week (8:00 AM 5:00 PM), plus one weekend of 24-hour call per monthCoverage Dates (Weeks of):
Starting January 1, 2025 Ongoing
Coverage needed weekly 4 weeks per monthScope of Practice:Outpatient clinic-based careBotox treatments for spasticity management (required)Management of spinal cord injury and general musculoskeletal PM&R conditionsOptional: Joint injections and electrodiagnostic studies (preferred)Full patient clinic scheduleOne 24-hour weekend call per month (coverage for up to 20 inpatient rehab patients)Support Structure:No supervision requiredClinic supported by RN and MA staffNo mid-levels to superviseRequirements:Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (ABPMR)Active BLS certificationProficient in Botox for spasticity managementEMG and joint injection experience preferredTeam-oriented and collaborativeEMR: Epic
