Job Summary/Company : Our client, a government contractor, is seeing an experienced Field Application Engineer to work as a liaison between their engineering team and the federal customer environment where their product is deployed. This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role that requires QA, validation, and system administration work. This position is 50% onsite at the client location in southern Maryland, and you will be required to obtain a security clearance. As such, only US Citizens can be considered for this role.

• Be a primary day to day onsite support engineer for the production deployments (in and out of SCIF)
• Work with internal software engineering team to improve the product deployment and client experience
• Design and conduct software deployment testing and validation procedures

• Experience with DISA STIGs
• Linux System Administration (prefer RHEL)
• Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible, Bash, Python
• Experience interfacing with technical and non-technical customers and stakeholders
• Experience with on-prem and cloud environments
• Ability to read and analyze application logs to assess application health

This job is Hybrid Remote.

Pay Range: Salary $140,000.00 to $160,000.00
