In this driving role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $21.94 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at public parks and recreation areas.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of park grounds, facilities, parking areas, trails, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Assist with access control, monitor public use of facilities, and help support orderly park operations during daily activities, programs, and special events.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately in required reports and promptly communicate relevant information to supervisors and designated site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
