This contract position offers a chance to collaborate with dedicated education and therapy professionals as you help learners with a wide variety of needs—including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Seizure Disorders, Genetic and Metabolic Syndromes, Dual Diagnoses, and those preparing for life after school. This opportunity is ideal for those passionate about school-based physical therapy within a strong, behaviorally-focused program grounded in ABA principles. Full-time schedules are available (Monday–Friday, up to 40 hours/week), but part‑time applicants with the right experience are also encouraged to apply. The contract runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026. What You’ll Do Conduct thorough assessments and craft individualized therapy plans tailored to student IEP goals. Deliver physical therapy services and consultative support in various school settings. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and vocational staff. Empower students to achieve greater mobility, safety, and independence in both classroom and vocational environments. Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress to adhere to school and state standards. Preferred Background Active (or eligible for) Connecticut Physical Therapy license. Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings. Effective communicator with proven collaboration skills. Enthusiasm for working within inclusive, student-first models.
