Mortgage Loan Officer

Overview Full‑time, commissioned Mortgage Loan Officer opportunity with a hybrid work location in Hummels Wharf, PA. Responsible for soliciting first mortgages, developing referral sources, and originating loans in compliance with regulatory standards. Other duties may include tasks assigned by management. Responsibilities Solicit first mortgages through contacts with realtors, builders, and developers. Develop and expand referral sources; maintain regular contact with Realtors and meet builders at job sites. Collect and analyze applicant financial information to assess qualification. Interview applicants, gather financial data, determine suitable mortgage products, and recommend loan terms. Engage in persuasive sales activity to secure business and cross‑sell additional services. Obtain and analyze financial and credit data, complete loan paperwork, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Maintain ongoing communication with customers throughout the loan process. Attend company meetings and support other job duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Experience One or more years of recent residential mortgage lending experience, including local market exposure. Experience in the Fulton Mortgage Company Associate Mortgage Loan Officer Program may substitute for one year of experience. Proven ability to develop referral sources from contacts and relationships outside the organization. Strong interpersonal and sales skills. Knowledge of regulatory compliance and lending standards. Required Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Licensing & Compliance The position may require registration in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry; incumbents will be notified in writing.
